Page Optimization
On page optimization is one of the most important steps in getting your web site ready to face the world wide web. Many SEO companies do not believe that this is an important process to undertake. It is a very time consuming and tedious task no doubt and doing one of the steps alone is not enough and on their own do not amount to much as far as helping you achieve good rankings. But, together, they play a very big part.
We achieve results by looking at the following items in detail:
Title Tag:
This is an area in a web page where the text is placed that shows the title of the website on the very top of the web browser window. Search engines use title tags to display your site in search results.
Content:
The relevance between the content and the keywords is the measure of site ranking in a search engine. The use of text is preferred over images since crawlers feed on text and notimages. The content should be natural, informative and entertaining
Meta tag description:
A Meta Tag Description is a part of web page coding that gives the basic description about the website within search engine results. This should focus on the website because Meta tag description plays a very important role in web page ranking.
Meta Tag Keywords:
Meta Tag Keywords play the similar role as meta tag description for highlighting the importance of a website.
Alt Tags:
Although image filenames are not crawled by search engines, alt tags can be applied to images so that it can then be read by the search engines as text. Generally important relevant keywords are applied to images as alt tags.
Keyword Density:
The amount of times a keyword is used on a web page is called keyword density. A keyword must be used in a web page at least 2-3% and preferably 5% to achieve a good ranking. This technique is the backbone to any good search engine optimization package.
H Tags:
H Tags are a way of telling the search engines that all words inserted within this code are considered more important that regular text on the site.
Sitemap:
A seperate file containing links to all the urls of your site. Gernerally submitted to search engines for faster inclusion and updates of your urls in the search results.
The thing is that you don’t need to understand what all of these do but, we do like to let you know what we are going to do as we have no secrets from you when it comes to the methods used for website optimization.
Thank you for visiting.
