The best credentials an seo company can give you is a good verbal reference from one of their clients. Anyone can give you a list of results from some random website and say that that was their work. Get them to prove it. Talk to one or more of their clients and find out what they are really like. Also, I don’t see the need to pay attention to how well their own website is doing as an indication of how good they are.
